    What are these going for

I've always liked these RAD teno daggers. The last time I considered one was at the MAX in 98 and they were going for around $1200 to $1500 depending on condition. I thought the price was a little too high at the time because they seemed to be everywhere. Now, with the SOS around the corner I'm thinking about getting one just because I like the way they look.

What is the going price for one of these? I lifted this picture from Johnsons site and was hit with some serious sticker shock. I've found his items to be very good and top notch and his prices were the same. Hopefully I can find one for much less than his price.

Your right they have gone up quite a bit, a nice one can bring $2500-$2800 and then if it has a hanger, even more$$$

You should be able to find a nice one at the SOS.
PS: I will have a nice one at the show for you to see

      Gary,

Garrett is about right on his take re: pricing forthe TENO Subordinate hewer. Don't worry, though, Larry and I will make sure you spend all the money you bring to the S-O-S!

      Happy Thanksgiving all,
      Skip

Gary, we even know guys that will extend credit. If you're a couple of grand short, no problem.

Man, I've got to rethink my purchase priorities here. I thought I'd get Erik a bronze and silver PAB, a TENO Subordinate hewer for myself, and perhaps have another $400 to $500 to play with after hours if needed, or on the last day if I still had cash grab whatever looks good on the way out of the show. I was thinking in the old price level of 1998. I thought three grand would be plenty.

Damn, I need to sell another cow or two! They are aren't breeding fast enough.

I could put the blade on the the plastic, pay $1800 when the bill arrives and hopefully knock out the balance by May. Hmmmmm, I HATE credit card debit. I've got to rethink this. How much are you guys bringing to the SOS?

Gary, you're missing the point. It doesn't matter how much you bring. What's important is how much the other guy owes when the show is over.

As we lick our wounds on the flight home, if I've convinced Skip to spend well above what he brought, and he's worried about losing his home, then it was a very sucessful show. If he still has money in his pocket then somehow I've been a dismal failure.

You might want to watch "Other People's Money" a couple of times before spending a lot of time with us at the SOS. It doesn't matter what you bring because it won't be enough.

Oh, I think I'm getting it now. I should'nt take any money or buy anything just watch Skip go under and lose the family farm. I guess that could be entertaining.
I just better make sure I get one of his cigars first, make a drink on the rocks second, and then watch I good guy go broke. I'm laughing now as I type this.....that could be damn entertaining.

                  Advice..

Leave the Rolex at home Skipper!!! I can just see Skipper covered in sweat during the last few minutes of the show haggling for a cased DKiG and using the watch as trade.

Gary, while you have the idea, you slightly missed the point. Since Skip and I have done this to each other so many times, we're looking for some new blood to sweeten the pot. We've never heard anyone calculate just how many cars and cattle they'll have to sell to pay for that Damascus blade RAD with ivory grips. I can't wait for the flight home!

                      Keep your cows!
Gary, you only need one bull and many cows.
It's common sense. Do your math.

Well, my blood ain't new and it sure as hell ain't sweet, but I get the jest now. Greg is also going, I'm not sure about the rest of the Texas chapter, but it should be entertaining to see who gets the most massive debt over this show. God, I hope it ain't me! Pleeezze, Geee-Zus! Don't let it be me!

If you still want a teno EM let me know, I think a friend has one.
