    S178K Bayonet

    Guys,

    Picked this up years ago. I'm going to list on Estand but want it checked out first. I feel it's just fine but want to be certain before listing.

    * S178K is for Gebruder Heller, K is for 1934 mfr. date
    * Blade marked S178K on one side and 6928 c on the other side
    * Scabbard marked 3090 (mismatch)
    * Frog marked Otto Breitschuh Eisleben 1941
    * Area next to bayonet release button marked with an eagle and a number I believe but hard to make out
    * Ball has slight ding in it, marked WAa33 or maybe Wa133 (I think)
    * Scabbard has slight ding in it
    * I think this is a mid war piece but not sure?
    * Back of scabbard marked Carl Eickhorn, 1939

    Thanks for any and all help.

    Larry

                        Can we see the stampings?

                        Regards,
                        Stu

                            Impossible to make out what this is even with a loop. Do think it is a WA mark though.

                              WaA33 or maybe Wa133? Very hard to make this out too with the loop.
