Is it possible for an SS dagger to be authentic without a maker's mark? I have one that thoroughly matches the descriptions for either NSKK dagger or SS Officer dagger. There is no mark on the blade and if it is on the hilt it is not visible.
I imagine the first response will be to post pictures! I 'll do that tomorrow, just wanted to get a jump and find out if any were circulated without maker marks.
(The holder has RZM M5/71 and is in extra good condition, but I realize this doesn't validate the dagger.)
Thanks.
