i THINK THE CONSENSUS IS : most dont give free appraisals here any longer.
Is this sword for sale, and if you are unsure to buy it at the price they want , or what?
Maybe if you state what they are asking, they might tell you to buy or not, but its getting pointless to just ask prices, because when they help ...youll likely go sell it elsewhere.
I gather they want the opportunity or chance to buy if you want pricing, and since they have not gotten an honest shot at an item after helping the inquirer its gotten to where it just pisses them off anymore...thusly no response...so It doesnt matter to me as i dont use the site to buy anything...maybe if you rephrase and give the asking price...well...you know.

Thanks for your comment. I didn´t start that thread. I just found that "older" thread while searching for this style of sword. A friend of mine got a similar one but i have not seen such a piece before yet and i´m no expert at all. So i really would like to know what model is shown here? Maybe something civilian made or something like that - i have no clue?

Swords, especially SS swords, are somewhat of a different animal. We need the Swordfish.

That is diffinitely produced by Klass and very interesting. I have seen this hilt configuration, but not with SS runes on the reverse langet, which appear to be original to the sword. It is a strange variety, with a value dependent on what the market will bare & I suspect will be a hard item to sell. The model is #233.

Could just be a custom ordered addition...

Agreed. I also believe it to be original and would be hard to sell due to such a large grey reference area with these early SS swords, and especially with this economy. I'm sure with patience you would eventually find a buyer. Dont know the value, but very cool sword nonetheless
