    Puma fighting knife

    Hi
I have just bought this PUMA fighting knife and would like to know what you do think of it.
I think it is fine, but to be sure other opinions would be welcome.
Have you ever seen a PUMA knife marked that way?
    Many thanks
    Ace

The knife and scabbard are original but the Puma mark is ugly and looks to have been postwar added

Agreed, I don't think there's any chance this is an original manufacturers mark.

        Thanks guys
My main concerns were towards the bogus markings, but still a lovely used original knife

          Hi guys
The knife finally arrived in and it is just superb and regarding the markings they seem to have been forever on it, with a smooth and regular overall waste which cannot be properly seen on the pictures.
          I just love it
          Cheers

Certainly the knife is very nice, the marking affects him little
It seems that the blade has been heavily buffed and naturally the marking also, there is nothing impossible but the markings are too rudimentary in comparison with the very elaborated markings of Puma knives.

            Regards
            Iván

I have four Puma knives with three different maker marks:

                          Thanks Iván and Viewfinder
There's another variation of marking that has not been mentioned here, and it's the PUMA knife without markings at all
I have seen at least two ground dug ones and one in very nice condition, so I guess that as the war went on they didn´t care for the markings.
Iván I had one exactly the same as the second one you have already posted and sold it because I didn't have musch confidence in it
Beautiful markings and knifes you two have around
