Being a new collector I am always looking for good and more importantly quality sites to purchased new items. Besides this site can you tell me some other good places to look. If you wish please let me know some ones (Eban)to stay away from. Thanks for all your help.

Hi Chris,
Try Paul Hogle. A great blade man as Niblet has said. Just send him an email or a PM here on WAF.

Don't be discouraged if there isn't one listed at the moment as much of his stuff never makes it to the site. He maintains a "want list" for his regular customers and contacts them first. I've done a lot of business with him and he is 100% safe to deal with.
Regards,
Stu

Don't discount ePoop. It requires you to be a discerning buyer, but as such, there are still scores to be had. I recently bought an excellent conditioned Heer saber, Third Reich era, very scarce example, for a great price. It was being sold as something else which helped keep the price down. There are some deals out there, but conversely, also alot of fakes....and common items often get bid up really high on eBay. I've watched an ACS Nr. 119 in fair conditon sell for $700 recently. Mind blowing. A mint example of this common item could have been purchased from a dealer for about the same, or less.
Keep an eye on gunbroker.com, and some of the dealer sites. Paul H often has good priced items. The best place is simply the forums. I have a favorite seller/friend who sells on GDC. Very cheap, minty examples straight from the vet. I do 75% of my purchases throught the forums. The other 25% come from vet dig ups, and auction sites.
