Portepees..Real or Repro?

Hi Guys,

I understand that there are some fine reproductions coming out of Pakistan now so want to be sure of these before I start tying them on.

Anyone have any concerns?

The one on the far left looks to have a thicker cord than the other three, but I don't think this is a negative, other than that they look fine to me...Jeff

Slightly separate the threads on the Acorn on the one on the far right and blacklight the underlying material to see if it glows. It's the only one that gives me cause for pause, but it may be okay as well.

I agree with Larry. The one on the far right is the only one I would have a hesitation about. I think it is OK but look at it a bit closer as Larry suggests.

Update: they all pass a black light test. Thanks for the tip on separating the cords to check the interior of the acorn. Learned something new with that.
