Very nice. If anyone ever finds a SMF Gravity knife with the name CROBAK scratched into the handle and with a re-tipped blade, let me know. It was my dad's.

                    Hi,
Is this the official lanyard for a gravity knife if so it has just answered a 20 year question as I got one in a box of bits and never knew what it was.

Hello Germ, I know this FKM from Johnson web site. I have a question for you. Does the knihe have marking on spike? Eagle with number 5 or RBNr.? I saw photos on Johnson's web but photos are low resolution and I cant see it.

And could you upload some photos of diassembled knife?

                          Thanks for response.

I open it up and can see number 178,it is not a Accept stamp on the spike,as i can see on my other FK knife, same With my LW daggers and LW swords, some With some without.

                              Thank you for photos Germ,

My theory is that knife without marking on spike (waffenamt) was post war product or was used for commerical sphere during second world war.

Some gravity knives have waffenamt - marking on spike by eagle with some number (usually number 5) - used in Luftwaffe
Some gravity knives have marking on spike with letter S (probably used in wehrmacht) - these knives are rare
And gravity knives without marking on spike are post war product or were used for comercial sphere during war)

Thats my theory. If I am wrong let me somebody know thanks

Shellmac,I dont agree With you,my belive is that waffenamt could be missing of several reasons,I thrust Mr:Johnsson on this, here in Norway many k98 without waffenamt showes up from time to time, and these bajonets are private purchased of Norwegian voulenters, thats Our opinion, but they is around and thats a fact.Germ
