    Army Officer's Dagger.....scarce?

Here is my Army Officer's Dagger. I have not ever seen another one for sale or talked about. Maker, Rudolf Buchel. I am wondering how scarce they are. I have seen other knives attributed to this maker.

At this point in time, this is the extent of my Army dagger collection. The white handled one is an Alcoso. I realize the scabbord is most likely a repro, but shows better than the original one. (which I still have)

You used the right word, Buchels are scarce not rare. Yours looks like a nice one.

My apologies to everyone, as my profile is gone, as well as all connections to any past posts and all PM's, this post is the only way that I can think of to reclaim my connection to past posts or threads.

That Buchel is a heck of a place to start a Heer dagger collection. That maker in condition still eludes me. Yours is beautiful.
                  Best regards,
                  Frank

                        Buchell

I show it a 24 on a scale of 33 with 33 being most common and a 1 on a scale of 10 with 10 being most common. Van...........

Scarce indeed but very nice to have, looks like a sweet example. I used to own one & can't remember why the hell I sold it.

I think you missed. It shows as a 22.5.
