Here is my knife stamped with 6:

My #6 marked bootknife matches Andy's construction exactly. Anyone know the significance between the 5 and 6? I'd heard a possibly speculative explanation about what this meant years ago from Bill Shea, but I dont exactly recall it and what I do remember doesnt really make all that much sense.
