    Another outstanding ( and rare) example from the LH600 collection! Very nice and with interesting provenance! I have a serious soft spot for hammered scabbard navies... Do you think this one started off as a 1st model, then the pommel was replaced? The grip shape is a little atypical for a navy, but I'm not sure if this company was making them in-house or not...

    Of course, given my primary collecting interests, my enthusiasm for this dagger shouldn't come as much of a surprise. (I.E. just read my signature...)

      Very nice to see this. I suppose the Krebs tag not belongs to this paticular dagger because the dagger has signs of wear?

        A lovely and rare dagger - well done on this acquisition. I narrowly missed out on purchasing a very similar item towards the end of last year. Do you have a Klass U-9 example ? Will try and post mine as and when I have time

                LH 600;Your KM dagger may be the first Carl Julius Krebs I have seen .I have seen a couple Krebs SA daggers, and bayonets.You sure have a beautifull piece ,by a scarce maker!!You have a good eye for quality!
