              Martin,
That is a very rare variation of the Pack maker's mark. 100% legit.
You're right about the condition, but if you collect by maker's marks, it's worth the asking price.

                Great pics
But the logo should have the name Siegfried over the logo... & Waffen below the logo
Pack have 2 types of logoes.
But how is the condition of the blade ?
most of the value is in the blade.

This crossguard may be the 3rd type late 38 ? similar to the WKC "tomahawk" eagle .

Please show us some pics of the blade if you have them ?

                Regards LH

A dagger for compare ( study the logo) Some different in your pics.

                  LH,
The logo is another variation that Pack used. It is rare to see it on an army dagger. You are right, the blade does not appear to be in great condition. The value in this dagger is the rare trademark.

                    Hi Phil

Are you sure of the Logo ?

Pack have 2 loges listed in Wittmans book. Page 50 ( Army book)

The logo Martin have here is different. I dont say its a fake , but i have not seen that before. It should have the name : Siegfreid & Waffen over & below ?

I can be wrong here. Correct me if so ?

                      LH,
Trust me it's good. Also the fittings appear to be aluminum typical of examples that I've seen.

                        I concur with Phil.
It is a known variant of the E-Pack trademark logo. Seldom seen and it rates a
                        "9" on the rarity scale.

However as mentioned the blade is not in good condition. IMO the variation of the maker logo does not superseed the condition of the blade as far as value
goes....in this case. And it's also -JMO-

                        Regards,
