SS sword -Krebs-

What do you think of this SS sword, marked Krebs? I came across it and it looks to me an interesting and convincing piece. Too bad al the swas are covered due to german regulation....

Hi,

It's not an SS Degen, but a Polizei enlisted/NCO Degen. Note the Polizei emblem button on the obverse grip. For an SS Degen, the officer's type, it would have the SS runic inside a silver outline button on the obverse grip. For members of the Police who were transferred to the SS and who had not received the SS Degen, they could still wear their Police swords with types relevant to their ranks

NB: The Polizei logo on the grip looks to have been replaced, or at least messed around with, judging from the gap around the logo. The lack leather underneath the crossguard doesn't look like the one found on originals either. Other than that all the hardware on this sword look to be OK.
