    SS Dagger with leather hanger.

    Hi all...
    I have been offered this SS dagger which I know nothhhiiiinng about when it comes to SS. It has the standard RZM mark but the rzm is also written out below
    .. strange.. wood handle.. is this a good dagger or a wanna be.... thanks for any help.

                    From what I can tell, the grip doesn't looks it it is fitted very well, and as for teh RZM stamp on the hanger, RZM stamps shoulsd have a surounding circle around them (like on the balde). Just my opinion!

                      Dagger and hanger look fine to me. Light stamp to hanger. The only thing that looks a little odd is the thick pommel nut... but hey, it's an RZM. You see those things on late daggers.

                        I tend to agree...probably original, just typical RZM-period (crappy) quality. Note the relatively poor workmanship around the grip eagle and the late, plated fittings. On the plus side, the blade-to-crossguard fit is very good, the plating is still good, and the blade is in nice condition.
