    Imperial A-H aviaton dagger?

Hi guys, this thing is posted in a Russian book, supposedly an Imperial A-H dagger, used by the AH air forces in the period 1850 - 1918 /seems they mean it was used in the balloon forces and after the invention of the aircraft - in the military aviation of WW1/. What do you think, is this real, or fantasy piece? Did these really exist?

    Hapsburg dagger

I have a very nice book from prague which has these daggers. There were several models similar. It is from the Hapsburg dynasty and is known as a "private weapon". The notion that this was an Air Force Officers dagger is a new one to me and frankly, bull.

If you are using the rather large Russian book on daggers that came out within the last couple of years, it has been clearly exposed as being a combination of work stolen from other officers and fantasy daggers put forth as originals to sell the Russians collection.

So, take what you read with a grain of salt.

    My opinion only
