Does anyone recognize this "sticker"? My Father brought it back from Europe after WWII. He always thought it was French.

Yep, French for the Lebel rifle, Epee- Baionette Model 86, 1886-1935, but carried on in use WWII. Originally had a quillon curving forward from the upper hilt, but these were officially removed. Also found with a white metal hilt.
