    New SA Dagger, Ernst Kemper

    Hello, Gentlemen.

I just got in this nice SA dagger and wanted to show it off. Early fittings of nickel-silver. I really like it. If someone has an extra hanger device please contact me. I would like one for it. rcpljp@aol.com. Anyone have any opinions good or bad? Is the maker, Ernst Kemper, a notable maker of these daggers?

Hi Robert, you have a very nice, clean, early SA dagger there, well done. I like the owners initials scratched onto the crossguard & scabbard. The group markings, "HA", in case you didn't know, are for "Hansa".
I am not sure how rare this maker rates, but all early maker marked daggers are very collectable.
      Cheers, Ade.

Great blade from an uncommon maker. Looks like most of the lacquer is still on the scabbard.

            Sa Dagger

Very Nice Dagger Robert. I Am Brand New To This Site So Forgive Me For Butting In. I Just Purchased A Sa Dagger Myself. I'm Pretty Sure It Is A Later Model As It Is Stamped With The Rzm Code. Underneath The Rzm Is The Number M7/68 Which I Think Represents The Tiger Brand. Underneath The M7/68 Is The Year 1941. Is This Unusual For The Year To Be On This Blade? The Entire Scabbard Attracts A Magnet. The Blade Does, But The Guards Do Not. The Handle And Scabbard Are Chocolate Brown. Looks Like Roberts. Any Help Would Be Appreciated. Thanks, Dalton

              Welcome Dalton,
In order for anyone to really make comments on your dagger, you'll have to post some photos. To do that you'll have to become an association member, but I think you'll find it's about as good of a $25 invenstment as you can make in this hobby.
