I'll leave it for the more experienced members to comment on this particular piece.
But, be aware that these U-Boat etched KM dagger blades are known to be heavily faked.

Well, it ain't a U-Boat, but a surface vessel of some heavier type. What I wonder about is that the memorial to sailors (At Kiel??) is engraved on the blade. Wasn't that put up long after WW2, or am I mistaken??

this is post `45 , Kiel memmorial was only used on Naval swords pre `45 , its a well known modern blade , nice looking but alas !! , trawl through some of the old postings on here .
make a nice letter opener though
