this is the first time posting in this section. thanks for having me. my question is i have a chance to buy this, the handle is damaged and to be honest, dont know if its real. if it gets the thumbs up, what is it worth?

The dagger looks original, but it's in just about relic condition. Would need to see dagger inside scabbard to verify it's original to the scabbard.

Tough for values when they are that far gone. Should not consider unless someone was throwing it at you for next to nothing honestly.
