    German Bayonet

    Hi,
Can you provide some info on the following bayonet and possible value? I will be selling this at some point. This is from a confirmed WW2 vet who picked this up at the end of the war. This does have a '41' on the flat area opposite the sharper blade near the hilt and 'WaA243' impressed near the end of the hilt. The blade has '8852 c on one side and ab on the other. The sheath has '4839 b'. The knife is 15" long. Thanks!

Hello looks like nice unfortunally missmatched 98k german bayonet, made by Mundlos in 1941, the scabbard was made by firm that is stamped on backside of body, hidden by frog, the value could be 80-120 bucks plus frog, but look to Ebay for more info.best regards,Andy
