Short Hanger Opinions Please..

Hello-

I would like to make sure that the leather strap is authentic and I need your help to do so. The edge lines seem a little deeper than I have seen at the tip of the strap.

It´s hard to say from pictures only, if a hanger is period or not. I use a simple method. "Smell the leather". If you smell still leather smell, then it´s possibly a fake, because it´s quite new. If you smell the characteristic smell of 75 years old leather ... sort of "must" ... then it´s possibly a period hanger

Ivbaust- I'm going to keep the hanger in a zip-lock bag for a few days and then smell the air built up in the zip-lock... thanks
