Tim save your cash for a genuine better condition hj knife this ones looking like a FAKE! the scabbard is 100% post war check out the lip on the scabbard throat a red flag straight away.......more pix of the knife itself would give a definte answer but it doesnt look promising ......cheers scott.

I agree.

Looks like a post war fake. Probably artificially aged.
The grips look plastic (more pics could tell whether they are or not) and the diamond is red solid.
All in all, a knife to leave behind. Find a better one

Looks to be a reproduction, and may well have something written on the reverse ricasso - ask who-ever's selling it if there is anything.
