    What a Sweetheart**WOW**

    My new beauty just came in the mail and wanted to show it off a little.It is a Eickhorn MINT UNISSUED Etched Bayonet with original paper sack.The blade is etched EHRE,KRAFT,FREIHEIT which means Honor,Strength,Freedom.Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.Will look great in my Etched Bayo collection.

        It looks in brand new condition! Very nice. Is the motto often found on these Bayonets; I mean a standard motto that Eickhorn offered?

          I really dont know,I have never seen a Eickhorn book for etched bayos.

            Hmmm

            From what I remember, these etches occurred on bayonets of students from political schools. I will try to find the threads myself, but I hope someone more knowledgeable adds more information.

            Aside from me not being sure, I have to say that really is a BEAUTY! I would love to get my hands on one of those as well.

                This bayonet (etch) is in one of Johnsons early books.VOL 2 I think.
