    Hi John,

The knife seems fine to me but something caught my attention. That is, there is a considerable some space between the rivets and the grip, and can be seen on both, observe and reverse (see pic 4 and 6). I dont remember if its a common feature on this particular marker so others who may own the same marker can help there.
I dont think its something to worry, since the knife in the overall seems good to me. There are some original examples that have the same thing and they are good. It varies from marker to marker, but this doesnt mean it cant be wrong sometimes. Taking a look at the rivets is always good to find possible repairs or post war added grips.
I also recommend you to check out the e-stand here since there are often good deals of HJ daggers for sale, because i think the price of this one may be a bit overpriced, considering its a late example.

Please wait for more replies before making any move.

PS: A tip for future postings: If you give more details in the thread title, like, for example "opinions on this HJ dagger" you can get more views and probably it wont be missed by some HJ daggers collectors who dont see all the threads and just take a look at the HJ knives related threads.

pics dont do much for the grip, the diamond colour looks very flat and grips very plastic but its likely to be the lighting, worth considering though check out the estand bit of a bargin hj on there now
