police bayo?????

Hi guys,
This was just given to me by a coworker. Is this a police bayonet? The bayo is completely unmarked as is the sheath and frog.
Any info would be most helpfull.

The bayonet is not a standard police bayonet. It appears to be a standard dress bayonet with a short blade generally associated with NCO's. It appears to be in very good condition. I would say that it was a very nice gift from your co-worker! Perhaps you should consider buying him a beer or two. I'm sure you'll get some more comments about it. Hope this helps.

It's a KS98 dress bayonet,short model for officer's.That's a very nice gift!!

It IS in really good condition. Some of the plating is a little thin
on the end of the cross guard and the butt end of the handle.
The leather is pretty dry on the frog but what can I say--
the price was right.
