Wehersbergm LD- 2nd model

Hello Casey, a nice period 2<SUP>ND </SUP>Pattern/Model Luftwaffe Dagger - Paul Weyersbergm, having the hollow type Yellow kunstoff grips with original Period pommel and cross guard , fittings, being the Weyersberg type. Excellent detail to the swastika and oak leaves as you would expect from this particular Maker. Hand chisleled oak leaves, upper quillon arms have the hand cut style oak leaves and acorns. superb hilt fittings and original orange Kunstoff grip, a worn but genuine portepee . This aluminum wire to the grip possibly a replacement. The blade of this example is a typical Paul Weyersberg, having a nickel plated finish.The high-quality blade has l runner marks present (to be expected) Hangers appear to be period examples. Market value approx $700 to $800 perhaps more if there is evidence of the gilding to the Swastika.
