Dagger hanger???

Hello-this came in a group of items from Germany and I was wondering is this was a SA dagger hanger. I have no idea and any help would be welcomed! Mike

Hi Mike, it is certainly not an SA dagger hanger. It looks like a sword hanger to me.

Definitely not Third Reich-era German. Could be Italian or???
