re-painted various times or by brush scabbard, I dont care too much for the lines of the grip, I dont like that the plating is completely gone off the crossguards and yet the plating on the re-painted scabbard is excellent.

I might just be me, but the center ridge of the blade seems a bit sharp. I would pass on it.

            For what purpose?

            Hello,

You show what appears to be a mid period M33 by WKC.

I agree with the others that it is, at best, a parts dagger.

I would ask yourself what it is that you want out of the purchase. A parts dagger in rough condition to use when re-enacting? Or do you intend to build a quality edged weapons collection? If the second then I would not buy it.

            Kind regards,
            Stu

I agree that your decision with this should reflect your purpose for the dagger. I agree that it certainly isn't one to add to any serious dagger collection, and I would not want it myself, even for that price. However, some may say that there's enough value there in it's parts, if that should be your purpose. That's just my opinion.

Well-stated, sound advice...my sentiments exactly. Although SS daggers aren't cheap, you'll likely regret settling for this one down the road

I would not think about it for a minute.......I would pass.
"Monkeyed" with too much and some parts IMO maybe repro.

                    Maker Code

The Code "1053/38" would indicate: Luneschloss, & made in 1938.
