Gottlieb Hammesfahr trench knife

I need help with this WW I trench knife I think it is genuine but I am not sure

Iván,

From what I can see in the photo the knife looks genuine. I think I can make out the crowned gothic C inspection mark on the obverse ricasso. Further, the knife pictured seems to fit the dimensions (Length 277mm and blade 148mm) for this model. Though there appears to be some "over sharpening" to the blade, the look and appearance seem to fit for knife this age. I would say value would be 60 - 70 Eur. Zach

A quality and massive trench knife compared to later WW2 versions.
I have a Hammesfahr that is very similar which was reissued to the Luftwaffe.

Thanks for your help, but I believe that nowadays it is very difficult to buy original Trench Knives for only 100 usd.
