    Imperial Navy Sword

I've had this sword for over twenty years and thought I would post for it for others to see and possibly appreciate. Ivory grip, reticulated guard, personalized engraving and Eickhorn marked demascus blade.

    Regards,

    Ed

                      What a beautiful sword Ed!

I have the same model sans the pierced guard and bow but with a steel scabbard. Mine is named to a fellow whose career postings show that he served on shore with the matrosen artillerie and ended the war in Berlin attached to the telegraph service. As yours, it also has a damascus blade.
