    Unknown bayonet

    Hi,
I was hoping to get opinions on this one. It has been recently offered to me and I was hoping that some could tell me if this one is time period or not and where it's from. If it's determined to be time period could someone let me know what a decent price would be for me to offer him? These are the only pictures I have so any opinions would be great!

    Thanks
    Kenneth

          Hey, Colt !

          You´re kidd´n, aren´t you ?

Sorry ´bout that, but twenty bucks for this one is really a joke ....

          I bought four of these bayo´s a couple of month´s ago here on a flea-market near Salzburg for a 40,-- Euro´s each.

Imho this was a bargain "par eccelance" ...

          Best, Reibert

I sugest you ask this fellow about the value of your bayonet, he collects swedish bayonets and knows what he is talking about. The page is in english.

            http://www.holmback.se/

            http://www.holmback.se/bayonets/feature6.htm

And the second link is for your bayonet.

            Regards/Kent

Assuming you are not confusing the scarcer M1914 with the very common M1896 Model, there may be an opportunity for you to make some money here. The M1914 sells on eBay in the US$50-100 range.
