Another newbie question:

There are a lot of SA daggers at manions.com that are priced at $300 and receiving no bids.

That certainly is a good price -- but are the daggers any good?

Don't buy from Manion's unless you know what you are doing. Yes, there are bargains. Until you can determine why there is no bids on your own, your best bet is books and a fair priced dagger from a member here or a good dealer.

BTW - $300 can be a lot for a dagger with problems. Like an RZM one with plating loss to crossguards. The dagger is straight, but has limited appeal.
