    My first Heer dagger

This is my first dagger. I swapped my bolo Mauser c/96 for it (which the dealer is now trying to sell as a ww1 broomhandle for a huge profit!!!). Anyhow here it is.
    Please enjoy.

        first dagger

looks okay to me, blade good, scabbard straight, no chips cracks I can see to handle, nice crossguard detail. I take it not maker marked. Much nicer than my first dagger. Daggers I have noticed hold their value and can always be resold if the need arises.
        cheers Robert

As i'm a gun virgin didn't want to ask a daft question one that thread, but what is the gun that you have slung over the tunic?
                    Ant.

the gun on the tunic is an Mp40,classic german submachine gun.mine has seen quiet a bit of servise as it is quiet battered,(also used after the war for a while i think the israeli paratroppers used them)

Ps thanks for your comments on the collection thread,i wish my wife would see it that way!
