    Welcome Normandie.
Are you saying your sword pommel has no Swastika or that the Swastika has no gilt on it. If it is the latter,as far as I'm aware, all Luft swords start off with gilt but wear and tear and over enthusiastic cleaning soon take the gilt off, especially the early N/S ones.

      Hi

Thanks for your answer, the Swastika has no gilt on it. maby wear and tear and over enthusiastic cleaning has removed all the glit, but the swastika on the crossguard has all its glit left.

      best regards
      fredrik

From the somewhat rudementary description, sounds clearly like a flyersword. The flyersword should have a pommel, threaded onto the tang above the leather grip. Depending on manufacturer/material, it may have a "sundisc"/ or "sun wheel" insert with national symbols on each side, or integrated symboles into pommel which were cast in aluminum. Like they say, a picture is worth a thousand...well, you get the idea.

What am I doing up at this hour? My God man.
