HJ knife
The mark on the leather L oakleave S is often seen on original HJ knives. The pictures however are really to blurry to say if it's real or not however I have a good feeling about this one.
There are a couple of things you could check:
Is there a rivit on the topfront of the magnetic scabbard as it should have ?
Does the upward quillion have a casting mark on the inside or is it nicely smooth as it should be ?
Does the HJ diamond look kind brand new or does it has a old/yellow look as it should be ?
When you push the HJ diamond doesn't it move or does it wobble a bit as it should ?
Normally there should be a rzm mark on the back of the blade just below the quillion. This should look like RZM in a circle with a M7/xx below or next to it. 'xx' meaning the maker number. A year of production can also be found beneath this.

Thanks for the information I have not got this item on me, this is the pictures he sent me, I can send it back if I do not like it.
i have posted these questions to him, but he did say there was no markings on the knife?
