I would like to hear a few opinions regarding the grip eagle shown in the attached photos. Anyone thinking that the eagle has been replaced at some point?

I can't say that I see the usual tell-tale evidence of wood deformity (pry marks) around the the edge of the insignia cut out.Comment

I dont see pry marks either, but the wood appears to be 'pushed up' on the bottom of the wings and wreath.
