    Hello fellwos,

can you tell me something about this dagger from the pictures?
Is it a real one or not?

    Thanks in advance!

The leather blade washer is a big red flag...Just not accepted on the Party-form daggers.

                  The hanger markings look fishy

I don't like the crossguards or the hole in the blade tang, either.

                  Stay away from this one,

Gailen David once told me that in the early days of collecting you would see quite a few SS and SA blades with leather washers. As time went by they were disgarded because people incorrectly thought they weren't period. The killer for me on this dagger is the hole in the tang.

To add to the points already mentioned, this maker mark (E-Pack) is frequently faked, and is a fairly uncommom maker of M33 SS daggers.

The crossguards and grip are poorly defined and ill fitting, which is just not seen on Packs. Beside the hole in the tang, the tang is completely the wrong shape and finish compared to other Packs I've seen. It also appears to have the rounded rolled edge to the upper scabbard fitting, also a bad sign...
