    Can anyone help with bayonets?

    Hi all,

I've a couple of bayonets that I'm interested in finding out about. The long bayonet looks as though it affixed to a service rifle. The second is the piece I'm really curious about. Does anyone know what this is?

          Bayonet

The Weyersberg bayonet is Swiss M1914, I believe.

I don't see any place for this bayo to mount to a rifle...

both are argentinian, (bayonet M1909 and argentinian machete M1909).

                Thank you kindly,

A machete. That is interesting, as a friend heard through the grapevine that artillery personnel carried them to clear vegetation to set up their howitzers in the field.

                Thank you,

                Robert
