                    Hi !

It seems to be an Italian 1891/38 bayonet.

                    The crossguard´s cutt off.

                    Best, Reibert

Why the bayo lug on the crossguard? Its where the muzzel ring should be.
Maybe for a submachine gun. Here is one with ring.

This bayonet is for the Italian Beretta M38 Sub-machinegun.. There should not be a muzzel ring just a stud for attachment...BILL

                            Hi !

This bayo was originally manufactured for the Infantry-Carbine Mannlicher M 38.

But is also was used on the Beretta MPi Model 1938

                              Hi,

nice 1938 model folding bayonet for the italian Carbine 91/38.
The bayonet for the Beretta 38-A machine gun is different
don't have the ring support but an different attach sistem
the bayonet at the machine gun, is very rare to find.
                              cheers, Raffaello
