    Hmm

    It's quite hard to tell from the pictures but my gut feeling is that it is ok. If you are interested in etched bayonets, Wayne Techet's book would be great for you.

      You need to try and get some very close up pictures showing the etching along the blade. Preferably taken without the flash on.
