    2 nd. model Lw. Dagger

    Hello,

Here is a dagger i obtained directly from the former wearer - a Lw. Leutnant.

    http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=247731

The blade is completely unmarked, but mayby you guys can id the former producer simply by the crossguard? The Scans are all for the moment i can do as i do fail a digital camera.

Cordial greetings and thanks for looking,

    Hi Stijn,

Unless a more skilled luftwaffe expert turns up, I will need a picture of the pommel and scabbard as well before I will take a guess.

            Hi,

Scabbard looks generic with that one centered screw on the reverse. The grip wire looks twisted brass. Alcoso was one of the makers used that instead of the aluminium wire. But a lot of the smaller producers did the same. If the pommel is also generic it will be difficult to find the maker. I will search a little bit more when I find the time.

            Regards, Theo
