My friend found this awhile back at a small fleamarket here in WV. When he first called me I automatically assumed it to be a WW1 issue. However after I have seen it, I knew it to be a Portuguese contract that someone has added a sawback to. I have compared the saw to one of my original WW1 pieces, and whoever done it done a very good job. Just thought I would share it, and to let people see that fakes pop-up in the most unexpected places anymore.
I am going to use it for re-enactment since I don't believe it will hurt the value any. Anyone got a repro frog?
