                  Vesuvio, the grooves in handle seem a little deeper than usual. is the ivory hand cut, or machine cut like the usual handles? The dagger must have been well protected to keep the colour of the ivory, a fantastic dagger.

                            It is machine cut. It took a brave soul to to that, ivory is bad for chipping on the delicate ridges. It's nice to see the hand fitting at the guard end.
