        Best regards,

yes it used to be M7/29 Jacobs & Co, but some moron has grounded the marker.

But JR can tell the rest of the story

        Cheers

What Lars is talking about on this 7/29 dagger of his is this: About a year ago I bought this dagger. It had previously been a thieft recovery item where the dork who stole the dagger ground the RZM 7/29 off of the trademark area of the blade. Seems he thought that this was the owners identification number and he wanted to remove that "evidence". The idiot got busted, but now the rare ! motto SS dagger was a "Ground Klittermann & Moog" No big deal as the dagger still had a nice blade, a rare motto, great grip and original finish on the scabbard. Who cared if an RZM number was gone......... So Lars bought the dagger because the price was as a result of the ground RZM TM. I packed his 1st SS dagger up and sent it to Denmark. Oh baby this is where it gets good. The Danish custom authorities put the big hand on the dagger because they didn't like my description that it was declaired "letter opener, desk decor" Neither of us was laughing at this point. After 5 weeks the dagger show back up to me in Colorado...........half hanging out of the box!
But otherwise it was un-damaged. My Ole Pal Lars still wanted the dagger inspite of all that had taken place. This time I got tricky with the Danish customs.. I sent the dagger to another collector in a different country and he in turn got the dagger to Lars. And that's were it resides today.

Thank you JR for replying to this thread and tell this story
Actually It was the Danish postal service who did not want to ship it to me. The Danish Custom just want my money . The Danish postal service has some pretty dumb rules. They told me that they will not carry weapons around in Denmark after the new terror Laws here. And before JR shipping the dagger I had been at the local police and got a permit to import the dagger but no no not good enough for the Danish postal service, at least they could have called me and ask me to pick up this dangerous terror-weapon myself .So thanks a bunch Bin Laden you god damn wanker

                    Thanks again JR
                    All the best
                    Lars
