    Strange Eickhorn SA Dagger

I have owned this Eickhorn SA for many years. I have always been puzzled by the fact that the blade appears to be an early one, combined with late fittings and sheath. The dagger, sheath and blade are in very good condition, and the fit of all parts seens to be excellent. Could this be a parts assembly dagger, or is there a chance that it would have left the factory like this?

One can never say never, but...
I definitely would call this an anomoly.
                  99% sure it's a parts dagger.

Yep, I agree with Lakesidetrader. The blade appears to be a ground Rohm based on the maker mark and motto position. The plated hilt and scabbard fittings were not used in 1934 as far as I've ever seen.

Thank you very much for the comments. I suspected that it was a parts dagger. Unfortunate, since it is a nice looking dagger. I too have wondered about location of the logo, usually found on the Rohm dagger. There is no sign of the inscription having been removed.
I guess it's one to part out eventually.
