                The HJ is a 1940, m7/66 Eickhorn marked transitional...mottoless.

I'm really not a dagger collector. I prefer to collect swords. Primarily Army sabers, mostly from the TR period and some Weimar era sabers.

The Army on top is an ACS, the 2mod Luft is a WKC, the bottom 1st mod Lft is a Rob. Klaas. The NSKK is an early Christianswerk. Those are all the TR daggers I have. I do however have quite a few swords . Amoungst other things, I collect sake cups, AAF wings, Japanese flags, guntos, and other odds and ends relating to the war.

Mike, you have quite the HJ arsenal. You could have armed the youth population of Dresden.

I like to surround my blades with items that might have been owned by the original owner.

                    Larry, Great Display......

                    Larry, Great Display......

That's the way to ADD Personality and Interest to the Blade Collection.

This is my favorite way, as well. ....... Dave/dblmed

great displays! mine are in a cabinet like in swordfish's post good old ikea, although it was ideal when i had 4 knives, they fitted on the single shelf i had spare quite nicely theres not much room for them now and i dont have room for another cabinet iam going to have to play around with them and try fit them in it wont be pretty but they've got to go somewhere

iam concentrating on hj knives maybe one day i'd like to find all the makers

thats a super knife you have, excellent centre piece! i was thinking of looking for photographs of hj members with there knives, although i doubt you would come close to that photo of them all in the tree!

                      keep those photos coming!

I saw Swordfish's and Larry's knives some time ago, beautiful knives...and also greatly displayed.

McCulloh, it seems that the knife is a DJ knife. Right Mike?

Thank you friends for the kind words regarding my tiny dagger collection/display. As a non-dagger collector, I have these just to add to the "war room". Ikea is correct. A whopping $50 for that case. The key is what Bill Shea sells. The dagger stands and sword stands are instrumental for my displays. They look great and really show off the peices. It's wonderful way to display your loot and still keep space saving as a priority....which as you know with swords, required us to be creative.

Here is my true passion. I think alot of you that know me have seen these. Although, the display changes as different sabers are rotated in. I have quite a few of them and not enough room until I build another display case and purchase another stand.

                              Happy collecting,
                              T
