blade un marked some mark's on the female part of the snap (patent kom i noor?) it came out of a vets trunk i dont have a clue if its original or repro ? any help on this one would be appreciated thanks

You answered your own question. I actually think the knife itself is fine, the scabbard I'm not too sure about.
