Looks like a good aluminium pommel to me. Most fakes are made from heavy brass and have a yellow appereance at some points.

Looks like an original "Generic" example with the three acorns all pointing up.

Agreed...In fact, I've never seen a repro aluminum 2nd Luft pommel

That's not say they aren't out there, I've just never seen one.
