                    Hi Mike,
                    I like it .
Its a transitional period HJ knife by M7/68, which corresponds to Tigerwerk Lauterjung & Co., Solingen
I dont seem to find any red flags there, only that the diamond follows up with the checkering, which is not quite common, but it doesnt always means it is a fake.
                    The scabbard looks fine.
If you are going to buy it wait for more replies, i could be wrong.

I own one exactly like yours, same marker.

It seems that you are new to HJ daggers, arent you? Just wondering that because you say found information about them...so maybe this gives you more info and tips about them:

                        Hmm

Looks good to me. The note by Tiger89 about the diamond not following the checkered pattern is not entirely true. When inspected closer, it does not follow the checkering entirely. I do not see any red flags and as mentioned above, excellent condition. I would go for it - for the right price that is.

Thanks everyone for the input. I purchased this knife while in Germany last month from a friend of mine there. Felt good about it there and since I am a Imperial collector, I just wanted to make sure it was okay before I make my decision on what to do with it. Thanks again, Mike
