Det er en tjekkisk-producert under krigen til Tyskerne, derfor WaA-stemplet, Dot står for den Våbenfabrik som lå derover..... Den er sjov, da den har omvendt skær... samt træskæftet er lidt forhøjet. Hilsen Ravenstein..
Made under the German occupation. The one pictured is from the last group made for the Germans before they produced a small batch for Romania with muzzle rings. The no muzzle ring version of the Vz24 bayonet was first made circa 1941 by Ceskoslovenská Zbrojovka (Povázská) Bystrica using Brno made scabbards. Circa 1940 both Ceskoslovenská Zbrojovka Brno and Bystrica made bayonets with muzzle rings finished in the Czech fashion (parkerized/bright) with scabbards by Brno.
The bayonet frog, which appears to be in very good condition, looks like a slight variant of the last ditch German frogs which were made circa 1945. FP
